Your views on the new school year

When will the education system settle down for any prolonged period. It is a nightmare for parents trying to help their children when the methods teachers are told to adopt change so frequently. Also why do parents have to endure "inset days"? People do not have enough holiday to cover the amount of school holidays that already exist but schools then add on these inset days for teacher training. Would it not be better for the majority of people for these days to be done whilst the pupils are on holiday instead of burdening parents with even more childcare arrangements and expense?

當教育系統穩定下來了一段長時間。當教師被告知教學方法要如此頻繁的改變，對父母來說要幫助孩子來說是一場噩夢。也是為什麼父母不得不忍受“老師的培訓日(inset days)“？人們沒辦法足夠去應付已經存在的學校假期，但學校再加入這些教師的培訓日子。這些日子對大多數人們來說，學生們都去度假，而不是讓父母負擔更多照顧孩童的安排和費用？

附註：inset days就是老師的培訓日，每年每個學期都會持續五天讓老師培訓。學生不用上課。學生不用做什麼，想做什麼做什麼，反正不用去學校。五天全天不用上課。
